Andrii Chebotaru

His artistic development began in the fine art studio of his parents in Sevastopol, where he received comprehensive basic training from 1995 to 2002. From 2002 to 2007, he studied painting at the Samokysh Art School. From 2007 to 2013, he continued his studies in the Landscape Painting Department at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv. There, he was strongly influenced by Professors Vasyl Zabashcha and Ihor Melnychuk, who further shaped his artistic vision and refined his sense of color. Professional Path: Andrii Chebotaru has been exhibiting regularly in Ukraine and internationally for many years. His projects are often connected to travel, with impressions transformed into intense color spaces. During his studies, he was admitted to the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. In 2016, he presented a personal project dedicated to the Revolution of Dignity at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. Since 2018, he has been working continuously with Artgallery Keller in Graben-Neudorf and has taken part in plein air residencies in Germany, France, and Austria. International Plein Air Experience: France, Spain, the Netherlands, Montenegro, Croatia, Turkey These stays influence both his subjects and his choice of color. His painting ranges from quiet landscapes to expressive urban views. Strong contrasts, luminous tones, and a clear spatial structure define his style. His works convey both energy and calm, often carrying a sense of direct experience of light and movement.
