Biography of Taras Tryndyk

Taras Tryndyk (b. 1973, Ukraine) is a contemporary artist whose work evolved from abstraction toward landscape, often blending both genres. His paintings explore space, color, light, and mystery, leaving room for the viewer’s imagination. Tryndyk has been actively exhibiting since 2001, with numerous solo and group exhibitions across Ukraine. His works are held in private collections around the world. In 2020, he represented Ukraine at Expo 2020 Dubai as part of the project “SMART UKRAINE: Connecting Dots”.

His art is not for reasoning, but for inspiration. Improvisation allows nature to dissolve in artistic design. The color scheme creates a peculiar sfumato; spatial edges are mobile and restless, and forms freely flow into one another. They have space, depth, clarity and mystery, swirling motion where individual objects and fragments materialize. His works look new in different seasons, times of day, or lighting.
