I was born in 1993 in the small mining town of Marganets in the Dnipropetrovsk region, I also live and work in my hometown. My creative journey began with drawing in the margins of school notebooks. At school, I didn't have a single notebook with clean margins and covers, it really annoyed the teachers, the grade for keeping a notebook was appropriate. I think I started drawing because it distracted me from everyday problems, lack of money, my complexes at the time, plus drawing with a pencil is cheap and can be done anywhere. There were no professional artists in our family, but my mother and sister draw well. Earlier, drawing was considered an unpromising niche for development, especially in our city. Therefore, apparently, the relatives chose an easier way. He graduated from school in 2011. Tried to enter the Lviv National Academy of Arts, but did not pass on the budget, studying and living in a dormitory cost too much, had to give up the professional education of an artist. In 2012, he entered the Zaporizhia National University for the specialty "Practical Psychology" at the correspondence department. At the same time, he worked and visited the workshop of the local artist Kozlovsky Pyotr Oleksiyovych. In 2017, he finished his studies as a psychologist, but did not find a job in his specialty. Decided to develop as an artist.
A little about my work
Watercolor painting is the main technique in which I work. Watercolor is incredible, it is unpredictable and "magical". You can say that I fell in love with watercolor. I started painting simple watercolor landscapes, architecture, flowers. Later, he began to add geometric shapes, abstract images and a character traveling through different worlds to the landscape. Now it is the basis of my paintings. I don't remember where it came from, before that the image of a person was already present in my works, but without details. In some works, I clearly position him with me, and in other paintings he is a separate, original hero, he just appears in the paintings and that's all. He helps me. I just want to express my experiences and feelings through painting. In my works, I try to combine existentialism, that is, the philosophy of existence and everyday problems that affect the vast majority of people. For me, painting is both a hobby and a job, which I love very much and cannot imagine myself without it. It became a part of me. As an artist, with the help of my works, I would like to change our world for the better, but no matter how noble my dreams and goals are, unfortunately, this seems unlikely to me. I want to believe that I am wrong and someday in the future it will be possible to reach people with paintings and other works of art. I don't care if my works are approved or not, the main thing is that people don't remain indifferent. Now I continue to work on new stories and create new worlds. The main thing for me is to continue drawing, improve my skills and enjoy every day!
My achievements
My works have participated several times in the All-Ukrainian fair at the Andriyevsky Uzvoz in Kyiv. The painting "Word on Glass" was selected for participation in the all-Ukrainian competition held by the "White World" gallery in Kyiv, and was included in the top 50 best paintings of 2018. In total, over the years of my creative work, I have sold more than 150 paintings that are in private collections of Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Turkey, USA, Canada, Great Britain, UAE, Australia, Taiwan.
